As Special Section designer at the Orlando Sentinel I created and wrote content for advertorial sections, inserts and stand alone publications. Annual publications included the Top 100 Companies for Working Families, Central Florida International Auto Show, and Orlando Citybook.
Additionally, the newspaper would collaborate with local and state organizations to produce informative targeted inserts. An example of this is The Power of Choice, which was created in partnership with Orange County Public Schools, Orange County Coalition for a Drug Free Community. This publication was targeted to school-age children discussing who to live a healthy drug-free lifestyle. Another external partnership was Florida Under Siege was a partnership with the University of Florida and highlighted invasive species to the Florida ecosystem and what could be done to stop the spread of these damaging plants and wildlife.
